Hill Demolition was contracted as principal contractor by Kelly Group to demolish a former chemical plant, paving way for the construction of their new headquarters.

The project consisted of asbestos removal, decommissioning and demolition of a number of large industrial buildings and the removal of a number of tanks and chemical plant.

The most efficient plant available was employed for this job including the super long reach machine, which was utilised to initiate the demolition of the higher buildings, bringing them down to a level where our 45 ton demolition rig fitted with a hydraulic shear tackled the remainder of the buildings.
