Soft Strip Demolition

Demolition jobs don’t always involve the removal of an entire structure. Soft strip demolition is a specialised process whereby the non-structural components of a building are removed either prior to full demolition or in order to facilitate refurbishment or remodelling.

This may involve the removal of hazardous materials, or the façade may need to be maintained while the interior and/or rear of the building are entirely repurposed – for example, a commercial building in a Conservation Area being converted for residential purposes.
