We use excavators ranging from 1 ton for smaller jobs to 70 ton for the largest projects. We also operate a wide range of attachments for these machines: shears, pulverisers, rotating grapples, finger grabs, concrete crackers and breakers.
We constantly upgrade our fleet to ensure we are meeting the high standards of the industry and the standards we set ourselves, and this extends to our fleet of lorries.
Our lorries include roll-on/roll-off bins, a concrete crusher and a selection of backup machines if and when required.
Contaminated Soil Disposal
Alongside the removal and disposal of asbestos from buildings scheduled for demolition, Hill Demolition is also skilled and experienced at contaminated soil disposal.
Land is deemed contaminated when it can cause significant harm to people, property or protected species, significant pollution of surface waters or groundwater, or harm to people as a result of radioactivity.
This can be the result of contamination by heavy metals (e.g. arsenic, cadmium and lead), oils and tars, chemical substances and preparations, gases, asbestos and radioactive substances.
Our experienced team can excavate and dispose of contaminated soil, managing the site safely and placing the health and wellbeing of anyone likely to come into contact with contaminated soil at the top of our list of priorities.
